Good performance, no flaws
I don't sharpen pencils but my kids do and they love this Swingline sharpener. main power supply. When you're not traveling the sharpener stays plugged in, but it's good to know there's a battery option whether it's a hurricane or a power outage. By the way, you need SIX AA batteries. What we like most about the Swingline is that it's a good pencil sharpener. We also like the shape/design, the quiet operation and the battery as an alternative energy source. It's easy to maintain and clean and has worked well so far. In the absence of flaws, it has a five-star rating by default.
