I took a chance. Yes, I see bad reviews, including recent ones. But the OEM toner was MUCH more expensive and my laser printer is rarely used. I'm happy to report that this replacement black toner cartridge worked great and didn't have any of the issues I've read about in some of the reviews. No weird noises, no streaks, no leaks and I've been using it for about a week. It looked well put together, not unlike the original cartridge it replaced. If your printer is mission critical, you can switch to the OEM, but otherwise it might be worth the risk.
