I bought this to replace my Dell C1760nw because the title and listing items say it works for this model. The box says very clearly what not to use for this model. So I had to return it and therefore cannot print what I need when I need it.

Toner works like OEM. I used branded toner, but it got very expensive. Not all third-party toners are created equal. I've used over 1/2 and haven't had any drying or smudging issues. Also, when I first bought it, I had yellow instead of black. When I contacted Vink they immediately sent me a black one for free and apologized for the wrong labeling. They are much cheaper than Dell OEM toner carts and the ones I've gotten work perfectly. I will buy them again too if they continue to work as well as they do now.

I took a chance. Yes, I see bad reviews, including recent ones. But the OEM toner was MUCH more expensive and my laser printer is rarely used. ink cartridge doesn't quite fit; makes a clicking sound. I think the gears are misaligned. The printer does not recognize that the toner cartridge is new.

The cartridge is recognized by the printer and prints. However, he had a surprisingly short life. The printer said it went out of service after just a couple of weeks. The last toner cartridge I used lasted about half a year and my writing habits haven't changed. The last one was also a V4INK cartridge from a four color pack so I've had good luck with them in the past but not this time.

Shortly after I installed this replacement toner cartridge, I noticed an annoying grinding noise with every printout. I ignored it for a while but tonight I'm sitting at my desk with a printer printing a few things. I have isolated the source of the rattle from the drive gear on this replacement toner cartridge. The prints look very good with this toner, but I am concerned that the gear in the printer will wear out if the gear is not activated. So it will need to be replaced soon if I can't get
