Review on 🔀 Bostitch EZ Squeeze InCourage 12 3-Hole Punch by Denise Davis

I took this because we are homeschooled and I need to put together a portfolio in folders for my son for each school year. I figured a three hole punch would save me the time, pain, and hassle I used with the single punch. It turned out to be less bulky and inexpensive, and pink is one of my favorite colors, so I bought it. There were no problems at first for the first few uses, going through 12-15 pages with no problems. The problem for me is the locking mechanism. Not sure if it's me or how I use it or if mine is just broken but it keeps blocking me while trying to use it. So for me it's a solid 3 stars. It's annoying to hit and push only to find I've pulled out a stack that doesn't have holes yet because it's blocked again. Unlocking can also be difficult at times. So here I am, stacks of papers trying to break through and I end up with a 5 minute struggle to unlock it so I can smash through the next section of papers. and I don't use it often enough to worry about a new one. As homeschoolers, we're already done with this year's academics, so I won't be rehashing them until we start next year after summer break. This may be an accident or just me, but if you have a lot of papers or need to use a hole punch often/daily I don't recommend it.
