Review on Sony WIC400/L Wireless Behind-Neck In-Ear Headphones, Blue by Anastazja Kubicka ᠌

Bad product, not worth the money.

Bought to replace a dead Sony sbh80 headset that had served for 4 years. If it was still on sale, I would buy it again. Excellent sound, I held 2 devices at once, and a phone and a computer, generally weightless, sometimes I forgot that I was wearing it. Excellent sound insulation, long-range - I walked all over the apartment and there were no interruptions in communication. I was very disappointed with this model. If someone buys this model just as wireless headphones, then this option may suit. The sound is normal, it connects easily to the phone and computer. But it is absolutely impossible to use as a headset. Firstly, when talking on the phone, the interlocutor disappears for half a second every 10 seconds and they tell me that they can hear me intermittently too. Secondly, for some reason the sound of my microphone is transmitted to my headphones, that is, I hear loudly when the shirt collar rubs against the hoop of the headset with a microphone. Apparently the interlocutor hears it too. I didn’t use it on the street, I assume that there all extraneous noises will make it almost impossible to speak. Thirdly, when connected to a computer as a headset, the sound of the microphone is so strongly transmitted to the headphones that nothing but the noise from your own microphone can be heard. as a result, as a temporary solution, I set up Skype on the laptop so that the native laptop microphone is used, and the sound goes to the headset headphones. But this is not at all what I ordered this headset for - when talking, I can’t move away from the computer. If anything, this is not a problem with crooked hands - in windows, the sound transmission from the microphone to the headphones is disabled, it's just that the microphone works in such a way that as soon as it turns on, it immediately broadcasts the sound to the headphones - this manifests itself on the phone and computer, only the size of the problem is different. All in all, a terrible product, which I handed over to the store after 2 days of trying to somehow adapt. I will look at what is on Ali.

Pros
  • normal sound
Cons
  • cannot be used as a headset (see comment) plastic is cheap but you can live with it
