I like that it's easy for my team members who are not familiar with software tools or coding languages such as JavaScript/Python to develop their own queries without having access to an expert engineer in our organization to help them out.

That said, they have excellent customer support which we don't always get from other vendors (even though this may be more of a testament to how great those people actually work). We use bonsai primarily because of its simplicity - no need for additional modules or plugins when you already know your data well enough to write custom ones! Our customers also love the ease of using it since there isn't too much setup involved once it has been installed correctly. It was used initially just by one department within our business but now all departments can utilize it easily so that everyone benefits from what could otherwise become siloed databases across different teams.
