The best part of using this software is that it does not require any technical knowledge to use, just install an agent in your system or cloud server then you are good for go! Super useful tool when looking into past accounts

I love how easy it is to use, from creating your index through to searching for data. It's also very flexible in what you can do with it! There aren't any downsides that we've found but if there are then please let us know so we can fix them!   • Easy search bar where they type out exactly w/e info related searches; helpful tips such as "try adding more keywords"; ability build own custom tags when indexing websites etc.

ElasticSearch is an open source tool for storing data in a centralized place

ElasticSearch is very easy to use for those who have basic knowledge of SQL database like MySQL or PostgreSQL. It has good integration with other tools such as Kibana, Grafana etc which makes it more powerful than Solr. I would say that there are some things in ES which can be improved but nothing major so far. If you want an open source tool which will help you store data from different sources then go ahead using this product. We had problems storing our application logs along side the normal

Great solution for storing and retrieving data in Elasticsearch

The best part is that it's free for basic needs, like indexing documents with metadata or searching through large datasets of images/videos etc., which can be costly otherwise! It has helped us solve our problems in terms of data storage & retrieval using Elasticsearch! There are some limitations to its features compared to other paid products out there such as AWS Kinesis Firehose etc but overall I'm very happy we've made this decision now rather than later when things start costing money :)…

Flexible open source cloud server software

We like that we can deploy our own clusters, that's very nice for us who are just getting started with this platform.The UI is not so easy to use at first sight but it gets better using some tutorials/videos. Also having your data in multiple locations makes sense from an infrastructure point of view (we have about 10 different DCs). If you want to try ElasticSearch I would say do it!   • Easy integration between components within same cluster ;High availability configuration options(replication) which support HA scenarios where needed
  • Elkstack offers great possibilities..you also don't really know what other services offer until trying them out yourself !
Cons
  • Somewhat hard configuring replication settings.
  • The GUI might seem confusing sometimes : )
