The MarkLogic is a great piece of software. I am able to manage and query all of the content within our organization and extract data to the cloud. MarkLogic runs well on the AWS cloud. There is a fair amount of configuration required to get up and running. The support team is also not as strong as some of the other platforms. We've had a number of apps written in PHP and Javascript, and after looking around, we decided on Marklogic for our new project. We got it installed on our server (the code was generated by us), and were ready to start building. The documentation is really good and easy to follow, and it doesn't take long to figure out how to do basic things like query databases.
