Review on MarkLogic by Ian Bates

The scalability of marklogic is really unbeatable. Our application has increased by 4500GB's recently and with marklogic we have no problem at all in keeping up with this demand.marklogic has never failed us so far and i haven't seen any issues that might be of concern as well yet, but if you are going into large size databases then yes go ahead otherwise there will be performance problems when dealing large database sizes. I would say that our primary requirement was in terms of being able to build an internal system from scratch where customers can search their own information which required huge amounts of data storage and querying to extract relevant results efficiently. I like how easy it is to use and learn. Also, the support is great. There isn't much that I don't like about this product. It's easy to set up and understand. You can have multiple databases in one application. This makes testing easier. It's also very customizable. I am currently using it to store my news articles and blog posts. It's also very easy to customize as well.
