I needed a connector with a very compact form factor. We have a conditioner in the bathroom and there is very little space on the countertop. The dental floss we use comes with a standard (long) cord. The distance from the block to the outlet is about 7 inches. This meant the twisted cord just sat there, taking up space, and just looking "unkempt". I stumbled across these and as the power cord was small I figured they would fit. You did great. I shortened the power cord to 7 inches and installed this plug in about 30 seconds. This made the counter completely much tidier. I've added some before and after photos to show the difference. Other reviewers were correct in saying that they fit VERY tightly for larger diameter wires like regular lamp cords.
