I've been a loyal Apple customer for 30 years. For the past few decades (or more), I've relied on two Apple Thunderbolt Displays connected to a 2012 MacBook Pro or 2009 MacPro. I recently got the famous M1 Mac mini. IMHO the Mini has two major but forgivable flaws: 1. Few ports; 2. Inability to work with more than one Thunderbolt display. The first issue was fixed with the 14-port Thunderbolt 4 OWC Dock, the second took more time to figure out. I like a workstation with two monitors. It really helps me to be productive. So I looked for two mainstream 4K displays that would work well for my animation, graphic design, and illustration work. A friend who works as a video editor recommended the ASUS ProArt series to me.
