Review on HONOR MagicWatch 2 Smartwatch 42mm, Agate Black by Athit Boonnoon PK ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

In general, I was very pleased with the watch. Of the minuses for me, the most annoying is the weather, I somehow don’t notice the rest, although I paid attention. The screen is bright, you can see everything perfectly on a sunny summer day, it plays music perfectly, at least I didn’t hear much difference when compared with a smartphone (Huawei Nova 5T). There are no complaints about autonomy either, I put it on right away in the store, they were charged by 72%, after 4 software ates, 3 downloads of music, 50 songs each, listening to music during training with GPS turned on, by the evening of 3 days, 20% remained on the watch, which is very worthy, I think they will live quietly for a week in a mode of use close to active. The design of the watch will suit both the sporty style and the classics. The watch itself is light, I would never have thought that I could sleep in the watch, it turned out to be real) In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, and all the disadvantages I have listed are easily fixed in the firmware, if only the manufacturer had a desire) I would also like to see the function in the watch loading pictures into them, or at least txt documents. I don’t really need it, but for students or people whose work is related to frequent assessments, this would be a must-have function)

Pros
  • - Design, build quality; - Autonomy; - Screen; - Ability to answer calls (only at first it seems like nonsense, in fact, a very useful feature); - Ability to play music and go for a walk/jog without a smartphone
Cons
  • - If you turn on the training mode (for example, running) and at the same time music, then while the training mode is working, I do not have access to music (maybe I'm crooked and didn't figure it out, who knows, explain in the comments); - There are false positives when the "activate the screen by raising the wrist" function is enabled, and this function does not work correctly in the prone position, but this is a trifle by and large; - A very freezing minus: in order to show the weather, the watch must have geolocation enabled on the smartphone, if you turn it off, the watch will show the weather that was at the time the geolocation was last turned on. If you turn it on and then turn it off, then at 00:00 the clock stops showing the weather and you must first turn on geolocation, then go to the settings in the Health app and open the forecast. This is a very annoying minus, why can't the watch display the weather that the smartphone pulls up from the Internet? Why should I turn on geolocation, which discharges the smartphone, I have no idea.
