Better than the Thousand dollar machines

This device is amazing! I had a very long incision peroneal replacement surgery. Icing is an absolute must after working out and therapy. This device is actually better than some of the multi-thousand dollar machines. It you elevate the insulated container as high above as you can, you can get higher amount of compression. Tip: Freeze some water bottles and insert them. I use Three. Two right in the front and one in the back. I add some crushed ice, add some cool water, let it set and freeze up a bit with the bottles to hold them in place, then over filled the device. Dropping the jug below the aircast allows the warmer water to drain, then I give the water time to get chilled from ice before raising jug above aircast. That can be done as many times as you need.

Pros
  • Gravity Cooler holds water and ice needed to provide 6 to 8 hours of cryotherapy; Compatible with all Cryo/Cuff and Arctic Flow pads
Cons
  • The cooler may not provide enough cold therapy
