But it works fine. on TV and Video

I installed it behind the TV and tried to use the IR box. Tried everything but didn't work. Since the player is behind the TV, the remote only works if I point it directly at the player behind the TV. If your device includes an IR extender and it's just a matter of plugging it into a miniplug then it should work without any problems, but it doesn't. As soon as you connect the IR extender, the player no longer responds to the remote control even if you are a few centimeters away. Annoying to say the least!
