If they made a slightly smaller version I would buy it as well as the only limitation at the moment is the size of the split ring. Also, this is by far the best pair I've ever owned and I've tried quite a few and hung a ton of hooks. Most split ring pliers I work with are size 3 and up and these split ring pliers are PHENOMENAL for him. Once you get to size 2 they are really limited but still workable. Most of the time I switch to an old pair of jewelry ring pliers for these small rings. The build quality is fantastic and I never see them fail when used properly. I even found them quite adept for tighter hook bends as the smaller side is grooved and prevents the hook from slipping off under pressure. from ring size 3! You are phenomenal.
