These are exact replacement parts for the locking rings on the driver's side mat for my 2014 Toyota Prius C. Over time I tore the driver's side carpet from the underside where the locking rings were and decided to repair my own carpet . The first step was to get two 17×4 self-adhesive rubber tread mats from my local port freight company, along with an awl for sewing leather. The 17×4 rubber floor mats fit my Prius C mat perfectly as I didn't have to cut anything. I have one on each side, top and bottom. Glue isn't effective so I used a leather sewing awl to attach two rubber mats to the car floor mat. I also bought leather anvil rivets from Michael's Craft Store. I used them to further strengthen all the mats together. My doormat has been repaired and is durable. Unfortunately it was not possible to reuse the mat's original retaining rings as the white nylon bottom ring is permanently attached. I was unable to order these specific rings from my retailer. They will want you to order all four of the original floor mats for hundreds of dollars. I measured the distance between the two rings - on my Prius C it is exactly 7 inches. I used a razor blade to cut out the rubber steps to smooth out the areas for the rings, top and bottom. I cut out rough holes for the rings and attached them. Because the thickness of the material was much thicker, they were all clamped together, so I used a vise to force the rings to "marry" them together. I used superglue to reinforce the small tabs on the white nylon retaining rings. After the glue dried and cured completely, my driver's side floor mat was completely repaired! These floor mat rings are absolutely identical to the factory original. I received a set of four rings but only needed two. On the 2014 Prius C, only the mat on the driver's side has two rings. So repairing the floor mat worked and was orders of magnitude cheaper than buying new replacement mats.
