When I buy pants and sizes S/M/L I expect some kind of elastic to compensate for this size discrepancy (Revain size chart). says that L corresponds to sizes 12 and 14, which is a wide range). I was surprised when that wasn't on this skirt. I tried it on and it was snug around my waist and barely (I mean barely) fit my large hips when I zipped it up. This is why I buy big because my waist is larger than an 8/10 so I think a lot of people would be disappointed with the sizes if their waist was a true 12/14. I'm keeping the skirt because it suits my needs, but I wanted to run an ad because I rely on reviews like this to make my purchases.
