We have ordered 5 of these lamps with motion detectors and we really hope that installing them will make our lives easier. To our dismay, after our technician installed just one of the lights in a small walk-in closet, we found it to be useless and utterly disappointing. The motion sensor does not detect the presence of a person even after we try to change their position. Nothing happens when we walk in, even though the light is mounted just above the closet entrance, less than a foot above our heads. Although this light can be used as a regular switch or motion sensor lamp and the installer who installed it enabled the motion sensor option upon installation, the motion sensor does not detect any movement even if we walk in and wave our hands. right in front of the light. This only works if we actually reach out and TOUCH the light's motion sensor. After we returned the 4 remaining lights we purchased and intended to install, the seller emailed us to say they would refund our purchase "on time" after we explained the reason for the return had stated. This should serve as our reply to the seller and hopefully spare others the frustration we have experienced with this product.
