My hair has improved a lot since switching to Pure Brazilian! I color my hair about every 6-8 weeks so I'm in dire need of some moisture back. A trick for ultra shine and smoothness is to wash your hair and apply conditioner (but not to the roots), apply conditioner to damp hair and let it get wet and damp. Gather wet hair into a loose bun, put a shower cap on it and let the bun fall into the cap. At this point, I grab a hair dryer (Babybliss hair dryers are GREAT) and run it through my hair for 15-20 minutes, letting it "marinate" while I sit on the couch and watch TV. After 20 minutes, get back in the shower and rinse the conditioner out of your hair (but don't overdo it). Time and heat make a big difference when it comes to shine and texture. I'm getting compliments all the time these days. It will be difficult to go back to anything else. Plus, it smells GREAT! If you just wash your hair and apply conditioner as usual, your hair will still be soft, but not as good as if you leave the house and leave your hair warm for a while. Much luck!
