I bought this brace for wrist pain which I put down to overuse. This keeps your wrist at a neutral angle, which helps. However, it takes little work. I have awfully small hands but based on the measurements in the size chart I bought the small not the XS. It was still too small making it uncomfortable. I fell asleep in it and woke up to find I had taken it off in my sleep. Order one size larger. It is easy to put on and take off. That gives good support.
