I love the silicone mats because all you have to do is rinse them off with a little bit of soap in the sink or throw it in the dishwasher and you're all set, whereas with a fabric drying mat if you don't wash it, it gets stinky and is basically a breeding ground for bacteria. I don't have any problems with this moving around on the counter and if I ever wanted to store it away after use to make more room I can just roll it up and stick it somewhere for the time being. Very good, lightweight, durable, etc. Great product.
