Review on 🍡 Goodful Stainless Steel Whistling Tea Kettle: Stovetop, Trigger Spout, Wood-Look Handle - 2.5 Qt Capacity in Sage by Dave Wheeler

Kettle like "oh-oh-oh " with tools.

When I first saw this kettle I liked how solid it looked. When he arrived he felt the same way. The wood grain handle and spout cover are fairly steep and large - 2.5 litres. Blue mottled stainless steel is also very good. My daughter really thought my son in law would love it. He boils water and hates the old kettle. I think he will be very surprised by this teapot. It's like a "tool" like "ooh ooh". It has a few flaws. The wood-look handle has a trigger on the underside that raises the spout. However, it sticks. I can't close it until I pull VERY hard on the part of the trigger that extends past the grip. And it brings my hand right to the silver and very hot lid. I thought I'd used it enough to loosen it up a bit, but when I pushed down to close the spout, it caught the skin on my thumb and squeezed quite hard. The only other way to close the spout is to manually push it to the closed position. This overrides the function of the cold opening mechanism. And there is metal that can burn you. It has a traditional kettle whistle. I have a kettle that doesn't do this and turns itself off when boiling. Annoying because the water will be cold when I remember I had water! But nothing, now we have this one. My brother-in-law liked it very much when he saw it. He had no problem using the trigger and I think after he's worked a bit he'll loosen up and be able to control everyone more easily. It's such a cool kettle, its flaws don't bother me and we'll be using it all the time anyway. We'll just be careful.
