Review on 🔪 Aurora AS1018CD 10-Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder with Basket - Efficient Paper, Credit Card, and CD Destruction in Black by Stephanie Benoit

This is my second purchase of this product. The first one failed after a few months but I thought it was my fault because I used it a lot and when it failed I thought maybe I had abused it. I ordered another one because I will have two bins and I figured it would be better to change the basket when I'm too busy to empty it. I liked how the cutters look - nice and solid. After a few months of average use (I tried to be more careful with the second grinder) it started making a strange noise - like the incisors were sticking. Yesterday I tried to shred 1 CD and it only went halfway before it locked. I took it off, cleaned everything out of the cutter, and now it's just making noise. He won't break anything. I just don't think this shredder is worth the money. I really need a paper shredder and now I need to find another one. I would not recommend this grinder to anyone. It just won't last - even if you babysit it.
