I've been working hard to replace the bellows on my Mercruiser outdrive. Then, when raising the forward gear to the trailer position, the accordion-style exhaust bellows quickly slipped off! After some research I found this style seal. When the output gear is in the down position where you use it, it seals the exhaust so it goes through the bracket as intended. I didn't have to eject the disc again, which I wanted to avoid! I recommend this product! Especially if you just need to replace your exhaust bellows.
