I wanted to transport a 3.5kW alternator in an enclosed cargo area of a trailer behind my campervan to run our air conditioning while driving. With 5 of these fans and some air intakes I can keep the temperature inside the case within 5 degrees of the outside temperature even with the generator running at 60% capacity, the batteries charging and the AC unit running. I am very impressed with these fans and how they handle heat. On one occasion, the side fan was in the direct stream of the generator exhaust and was exposed to 185 degree air for up to 20 minutes with no side effects. I've since added a baffle in front of this fan. The generator has a remote start so I can start the generator while driving which will spin the fans and after 30 seconds the air conditioning will come on. Ideal! That would be impossible with these fans!
