I also had one of these filter covers in my latest K&N CAI kit and you can't beat them. I don't mind spending money on a trip, but this thing looks like a $30 napkin. Don't be discouraged, I've had one of these on my truck's CAI for almost three years and they work just great! It keeps a lot of fine dust/dirt out of your filter so it stays cleaner longer for better performance, and the packaging can be easily wiped clean with a clean, dry rag to prevent it from adding restriction. When first installed, it fits snugly onto the filter and requires a little care to install on the filter. The elastic on each end loosens up for a looser fit within a year or so, but even then it never slipped off my filter and continued to work great! It's worth the cost for the protection and good looks you get from it, I highly recommend this product!
