Now I have a second one. The first lasted exactly 2 months, then the gear indicator started to disappear and I wouldn't engage the gear or just stayed in 3rd gear. Well Revain returned my first one and I got a new one, if this one fails I'll be really pissed. I still have the OEM that I changed earlier, but this time it was the cause of the error. I'll be returning my OEM if that fails and I'll probably never have a problem again. Original Review: I swapped out my neutral park switch on my 04.5 Duramax LLY as I was still getting the "shift range forbidden" message when a friend told me that was the cause. This part took me about 15 minutes to switch on my back on my snowy road without lifting the truck, climbed straight in! Unfortunately that wasn't my concern, my ignition switch broke but I kept the old one so I now have a spare!
