Perfect Reverse Osmosis Water in Filters

Very simple and effective reverse osmosis filter. It took me about an hour to assemble it, flush it (per the instructions) and make clean water. Connected to a kitchen sink faucet with a water hose adapter I already had. The spring water has a pH of 8.5 and 180 ppm. Clear water exits at 5 ppm and 6.7 ph, then stabilizes at 7.0 within a few hours. Ideal reverse osmosis water. The first run was 40 gallons in about 20 hours. I use a source water temperature of around 85Β°F to improve flow. The attachment is excellent; The entire filter system can be easily unmounted and removed when the water is not being filtered. No leaks. If yours is leaking, you are using push-pull fittings incorrectly. Read the user manual again. It clearly explains how to use them and even has some pictures! If you have poor flow, you are using water that is too cold or you have too much/too little water pressure. See table in the user manual. Instructions are included. They are written in English by an English speaker. They are very clear and precise. If you can't decipher the clear step-by-step instructions in English, ask a friend for help. Includes 20ft 1/4" white waterline. The front of the box says it's included. All those bad reviews from people who can't use push-pull connectors or can read and follow clear instructions are utterly useless. This is a great little filter that makes the perfect reverse osmosis water when you don't need 0ppm water. For my purposes, 5 parts per million is fine. Quick tips for a painless adjustment: Cut the waterline to exactly 90 with a sharp razor blade Grade and make the ends perfectly straight. The waterline should protrude about 1/2" into the locking connectors. Use a marker or masking tape to mark 1/2" from the top of the waterline so you have a visual clue of where whether it is not fully inserted Some fittings require significant pressure on the water line to properly seat with an internal O-ring e.g u sit. Use a towel to grab the water pipe and if the pipe is kinked, cut it and start over. Replace inexpensive carbon and sediment filters fairly often to extend membrane life, especially if your water is hard (300+ ppm). or you have high levels of chlorine (2-3 ppm). If your water contains chloramine instead of chlorine, you need an additional filter. Aquatic Life sells one. Your water company must provide the public with a water analysis report annually; It's usually online and gives you all the above information about your water. Turn off the water when you're not around; save yourself from a big mess!
