Leaks, flood your house!

This is actually my third but last purchase of these devices. I've been using them for several years with no problems. Apparently they changed the design of the DI cartridge to a cheaper plastic. With the latter I had problems with the top part coming loose under pressure and leaking everywhere. The o-ring is in place, the lid is tight, when I come back it's leaking everywhere. I have a pressure control box in my water system and my water pressure is within specifications. I am deeply…

Makes reverse osmosis water economical and very good

Produces lots of water per day, very compact and easy to use. I haven't found anything I don't like about the device. Aquatic Life's customer support team do an excellent job and provide very helpful advice. I use a water producing device for my hydroponic system that I use about 30-50 gallons a week. I was able to connect the device to my fridge with the RO Buddie pump which is also a great addition. Customer service was able to walk me through the entire process and provide me with the parts…

Adapter hard to find

The instruction manual states that the fittings supplied with the filter will fit most faucets on the market. It is not true. They don't fit the faucet or shower in my bathroom. The faucet is made by Kohler and is less than 10 years old. The thread of the shower head corresponds to the industry standard. So I had to get some kind of adapter, I checked with Home Depot and Menards, they don't have what I need. So I figured I might have to return the filter to the seller or Revain as the filter…

We were looking for an affordable way to get cleaner water for two stand alone humidifiers to reduce buildup. This item is perfect for that purpose. We use 3 gallons of H2O for 2 days and this generates it at 22 minutes per gallon with cold tap water. Thanks to everyone who mentioned adding an extra shower, it works great for us. Just remember to pull the water switch handle on the tub faucet each time so you don't get wet :) We had a handheld shower head with a hose so we just attached it with

Fast delivery and easy set up. Did about 2+ GPH. There are no leaks at all. You may need to make some connections, but then everything is fine. For waste water, run a hose through one of the holes in the top bracket so the outlet valve is pointing straight up, otherwise there will be a slight leak when bent to one side. Some of the valve clamps did not have an extension for easy removal. I'm not sure why they aren't all the same, but a fingernail will take it away. No wrench is required as the…

Read and follow the simple instructions provided and you will have no problems with this product! I bought this system for use in my home brewery. I had to collect about 10 gallons of reverse osmosis water for each day of brewing (about 2-3 times a month). I didn't want to spend the hundreds of dollars needed for an entire house system because I only needed small amounts. It seemed like a good price for its intended purpose so I bought it here despite some negative reviews. The device arrived…

I bought this reverse osmosis water filter for my hydroponic garden. I have had to purchase water from the local icemaker for months and when the icemaker's water supply function stopped working for over a week, I knew I needed to take other measures. When I found this device for fifty-two dollars, I was in seventh heaven. I was very excited to finally get a reverse osmosis filter so I could make water at home. I bought a tank and a float valve, all you need. Imagine my frustration when the…

Perfect Reverse Osmosis Water in Filters

Very simple and effective reverse osmosis filter. It took me about an hour to assemble it, flush it (per the instructions) and make clean water. Connected to a kitchen sink faucet with a water hose adapter I already had. The spring water has a pH of 8.5 and 180 ppm. Clear water exits at 5 ppm and 6.7 ph, then stabilizes at 7.0 within a few hours. Ideal reverse osmosis water. The first run was 40 gallons in about 20 hours. I use a source water temperature of around 85°F to improve flow. The…
