Fifty liters a day? More like fifty gallons in two weeks. (Edited after a month)

I bought this reverse osmosis water filter for my hydroponic garden. I have had to purchase water from the local icemaker for months and when the icemaker's water supply function stopped working for over a week, I knew I needed to take other measures. When I found this device for fifty-two dollars, I was in seventh heaven. I was very excited to finally get a reverse osmosis filter so I could make water at home. I bought a tank and a float valve, all you need. Imagine my frustration when the filter seems to be producing about three gallons a day. Don't get me wrong, I understand you get what you pay for. I just hoped this filter lived up to its advertised size. If the ad says he'll be producing fifty gallons a day, he should at least be doing something close to that. In the two weeks that I've had this filter hooked up, I've gotten about fifty gallons of filtered water. If you need good water for gardening or whatever, look elsewhere for a filter. If you want to spend hours connecting something only to be very frustrated with its abilities, then this filter is for you. Let's say about fifty gallons total. Let's be honest and say I may only have gotten 80 gallons this month, but I'm even willing to round that up to 100 gallons since I haven't accurately measured the actual amount of water used. If the filter produced the advertised 50 gallons of water per day, I could produce about 1500 gallons of reverse osmosis water in that time. This filter is a definition of cheating. After I produced about 80 gallons total, the water deposited in my reservoir slowed to about a drop every six to eight seconds. I'm no mathematician to figure out what the actual output is, but I can tell you it's less than a gallon a day. Much less. Definitely do not buy this filter. This filter will only ease your wallet but will not meet your water needs. I think the only option is to shell out a few hundred bucks for a true reverse osmosis filter. gimmicks! Garbage is sold like treasure! Lies and deceit is all that is sold here. That's a big pile of false hopes. To be honest I think there is both a waste of time and bitter disappointment that really gives you great bang for your buck. What you don't get is filtered water.
