Review on Songhe 4 Channels IIC I2C Logic Level Converter πŸ”Œ Bi-Directional Module: Efficient Voltage Shifter for Arduino Green Board (10PCS) by Kyle Ross

They're simple and just work

So far I've used bilevel converters in projects with no problems (except when prototyping too much signal noise on the breadboard). I have successfully connected the Raspberry Pi's 3.3V pins to a retro 8-bit 5V serial port for bi-directional communication (like file transfer). The photo uploaded shows three such devices, one still in an anti-static bag, another wire wrapped and still in the testing/development phase before installing it on a new breadboard, and a third between two coins on a solderless breadboard to round it out The size of these devices saved me from working directly with discrete SMD components, and the clearly labeled circuit boards make the use reliable. Since my signal speeds are quite low, I haven't experienced any of the speed tolerance issues that others have complained about. Each level transducer is supplied in anti-static bags along with connectors (not always required). I recommend and would buy again.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
