I bought these boots for a family member who has been in the military for two years and does a lot of walking, sometimes tens of miles across the hilly desert. He said these shoes are not for walking because the hard sole causes pain in the legs. Foot pain after running in heavy combat boots or Adidas Pureboost running shoes.
