Took about an hour to install, instructions are not very well written. You must be tech savvy to figure out/understand how to remove an OEM intake and then install a K&N kit. The K&N kit makes the truck growl and growl without buying the expensive Flowmaster package. I have custom rims but the tires are the same size on my truck because the rims are 1" taller, the tires are flatter (more floor space) but based on gas mileage the K&N kit helped 18/20 miles keeping gas on the road. When towing our 1500 pound RV or boat this summer after installing the K&N kit, I barely noticed I was pulling anything and barely hesitated as I drove by. Overall this is a great product that has helped with throttle and increased power. There is a 2005 Tacoma TRD, Auto V6.
