Review on 🐻 Tobin T21711 Baby Bears Birth Record Counted Cross Stitch Kit: Cherish Your Little One's Arrival! by Denise Davis

The pattern is very beautiful. The symbols are easy to read and there are no stupid half-square stitches. BUT. The colors of the threads that come with the kit are terrible. Some of the suggested DMC colors are suitable, but the thread that comes with the kit does not match. I went through the bear part before realizing it looked golden pink and started over with my own choice of embroidery thread color. I replaced the following: Your mine (DMC) Your mine (DMC) LT. violet 209 pale gold 677 violet 553 LT. Gold 676LT. Yellow 727 gold 729LT. Pink 3716 DC. Gold 3829 Rose 962LT. Aqua 964DK. Pink 961 Aqua 958 Green 954 LT. Peach 353DK. Green 912 Peach 352 I have also used 948 for bear herding. I just made the bottom left bear with a box around it and the birth information on the right side (inside the box). I moved the butterfly so that the bear's eyes seemed to be looking at it. I framed it with purple, green, and pink layered mountboards and a warm brown wood frame. It turned out very nice. I would like to post a photo but I don't know how.
