I bought this product because the wood matches my table, it's quite good. I like all 4 corners (if you include flat ones) and there is little space underneath, it's handy to store an iPad with a small case or a notebook. It's weight stable and I have a 2015 Macbook Pro so I'm not sure how it will perform with lightweight chrome books or a MacBook Air. The hinge parts move slightly with no weight, but only when I shake them. I only use this at home due to the quarantine, but even without it I can't imagine taking it to cafes, so I wouldn't recommend carrying it regularly, although it's very light (too bulky for my laptop, but it's not ) .
