I thought I hosed down. But I found this thing here. It fits perfectly. I was afraid I would order the wrong one. It was replaced and repaired in about 10 seconds. My kids tore the old one by stretching it too far. I didn't want to throw away my $300 vacuum cleaner. So, I'm here to say that it fits the compact Dyson perfectly and is easy to replace.
