Review on πŸ“„ Efficient Scanning with the HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow 7000 s3 Sheet-feed Scanner (L2757A) by Brian Garrett

I love this scanner!

This scanner is just unreal. Just received it, set it up today and finished scanning some photos. This is my new favorite home appliance. So here's the kicker: Unboxing is easy. There's not a whole heap of electrical tape and foam (this isn't a printer). Just take it out of the box and set it up (connection included). Do not connect the USB yet. Insert the installation disk and wait for the prompt. The scanner comes with two disks: the main software and a bonus software disk (sounds good, it's PaperPort). If there are no further problems after connecting, the installation will be completed. After that, you can install PaperPort if you want. I have older versions with previous scanners and I've always really liked the software, especially for photos. This latest version of PaperPort is great. Instead of going into too much detail, watch the video. I put in a stack of photos and she flips through them. I have never seen such a fast scanner. Just watch the video. it's so cool I have so many photos to scan and put it off because I didn't want to scan them one at a time (my all-in-one has trouble separating photos because they stick together). The pictures come out great. That hurts. If you get stuck (hint: don't try to scan old Polaroids in this thing), just lift the lid and take out what's inside (pictured). So easy. Seriously, I love this business. That's right, it's $850. But let's face it, if you want a scanner this fast and efficient, you're going to have to pay for it. If you don't scan very much, this is probably overkill. But if you have boxes of photos you don't want to take with you on site, or want to scan your files to get rid of the filing cabinet (which I did), it saves you so much time it's worth it.

Pros
  • Office electronics
Cons
