I bought three poles. They seemed heavy and sturdy. I set them deep in concrete and as directed. The threads failed on one of them and it separated with tension, ultimately crashing down, thankfully when nobody was around. Another is now loose at the joint and I am taking them all down as I am afraid that it is either a defective design or manufacture. If you bought this product, have a close look to make certain that it is secure. I lost lots of labor, time and money because of this product as I am back at ground zero with no shade and the bases set in concrete that I now have to remove.
