I've been looking for a media shelf for a long time. After much research I have determined that the only decent media shelves on the market that used space efficiently and didn't cost a fortune were this shelf and another by Atlantic Media Atlantic Media Regal because the build quality of this shelf based on the photos/ Reviews seemed better, so I figured it was worth the extra $40 cost, not $115. Only machined on 3 sides, the bottom of the shelves isn't machined either. The shelves themselves appear to be wood, but the sides, top, and bottom are all chipboard. The shield is even cheaper, edge cardboard. Everything is very thin, feels a bit too delicate and sticky. Installation was easy, but I constantly felt like I was going to break something. It gets the job done, holds my media, and is relatively heavy on the back so it's not likely to tip forward and fall. I'll save it, but I can't help but feel ripped off. It is very difficult to justify this shelf for the asking price.
