Only owned the headset for about 2 days. On the first day, the microphone worked intermittently, turning off every few minutes. The next day the microphone stopped working completely. THX surround sound is well thought of, but doesn't work in practice. Speakers and drivers are not large enough or powerful enough to use THX surround sound. The sound quality is ok if you don't use THX surround sound, but once switched on the quality and intensity drops significantly. Although it works as intended to give the impression that the position the sound is coming from has changed. The headset was very comfortable and the gel-impregnated ear pads worked and felt good. This is the only good part about this headset. Razer products have let me down in the past. Thought I'd give it another try in the hopes that their quality has improved over the years as I'm a huge fan of THX products. However, I was very disappointed and shouldn't be surprised that their product failed like so many others I've had in the past. Won't make that mistake again. Will never buy a Razer product again. I should have known better. The only smart thing I did with this purchase is return it.
