This is a great example of a branded product resting on its laurels. This cheap front license plate bracket not only broke almost immediately but also managed to damage the new foil and paint underneath. The company provides you with a minimal bolt to get into the hitch receptacle, which means you're already within a hair's breadth of scraping. To top it off, aluminum is so cheap it will bend at the slightest touch. Better not to waste your money and buy a cheap one on eBay. This is probably the same manufacturer Perrin buys them from (or better!)
