UPDATE: I tried two different types of double sided tape and resealed each twice but my knives broke. It's not the rod's fault, but beware buyers: you need the right tape (don't know what that is yet) to hold my magnet rod in place and both failed! I have to drill my tile to keep it on the wall! 🤩👍🏼100% satisfied with this product! After reading numerous reviews about this product and other brands of magnetic blades, I am very glad that I chose this product. Pros: * very durable 🏋️‍♂️ * very easy installation * fantastic length! Holds many knives.*works! My knives will NOT slip! * AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE (I didn't want to drill my subway tiles and before I could contact the company, I received an email from the seller asking if I had any questions about the product. I voiced my concerns. You answered my question with very detailed instructions and lots of photos!I found the right double-sided tape at Target and applied it in less than five minutes!) Cons: NO! I can only recommend! Worth the higher price compared to other competing brands that have lower magnet strength and lower price. Why take the risk?
