Bought this magazine hoping it would have the same watercolor paper as Carp. I figured if it was regular paper it still wouldn't be too outrageous a price for a hardcover sketch magazine with a fancy cover. Luckily it looks like it's the same paper as the Karp cover, which I also bought on a separate order. It's thin for toilet paper, but I've had no issues with it warping or warping when I paint. It seems pretty much on par with other WM magazines I have, it has more pages than most of them and you get the bonus of a fancy cover. And the cover is awesome. The attached image was created using my Koi water brush and Windsor and Newton watercolors. The colors retained their luminosity and laid out smoothly. I am very happy with this magazine and may buy a few other cover models.
