I've been cycling to work for 3 years now but this is the first year that I've been riding all year round. Now that winter is coming I needed to upgrade my headlights and reflectors for darker conditions. I have a matte black helmet that I thought needed a little reflector, but didn't want it to be too obnoxious. So I ordered the black version, thinking it would be the black decals on my helmet at worst. Turns out I really liked her. The construction is simple and fits my helmet very well by simply laying the chainstays front to back. The first thing I did was turn off all the lights and shine my phone's flashlight on the helmet and I was very surprised at how they stood out. Any car headlight that hits them will definitely see them. I have some concerns about how well they will hold my helmet but only time will tell. For now I think this is a great option to complement the reflectors and lights. Oh, and cyclists, please note that most states have a law that bicycles require lights when riding in the dark. Please turn on your bike lights!
