Bought to fix a hard drive firmware bug (Seagate Bug 7200.11 BSY) and although after downloading and installing Silicon Labs CP210X drivers found it working I didn't do it particularly well. The connector pins are loose and I had to bend the board up at a fairly sharp angle after plugging it in for it to see the pin and OS. So it works, but some quality assurance may be needed in the production process. You can melt the solder on the connector and see what happens later. So far it has done what I needed. Edit: I remelted the solder - they missed one of the pins and the solder that should be was in a different spot on the board. Just a QA issue. Now it works fine.
