good for the price but a little wobbly

The tree looks like finished plywood and has a nice appearance. The pillows are comfortable enough. They reeked of VOCs upon opening, but only for about a day. Ultimately, I decided to return mine due to lateral wobble, which I don't think was due to design factors beyond a single loose screw. .Another disadvantage is that it is not regulated. I found the design to be a bit small for my body (I'm about 5ft 11in or 1.8m tall). I had a few frustrations during construction. As did one or two other reviewers. commented, there was a hole in the top plate that I couldn't safely drive the screw into. It looks like the internal (invisible) threaded piece has become loose or loosened. that it was supposed to be facing up, but try as I might I couldn't set it that way, and in the end I concluded it was mislabeled. It would be easier to assemble without instructions than with misleading ones. Other similar chairs available from Revain, this one was much cheaper and more contemptible. Despite those few flaws I've listed, the quality was quite decent indeed. So you might be happy with this chair - it depends what you're looking for - and you might have better luck with cushion carving.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not bad but...
