I really like these dog shoes; However, sometimes they can turn sideways or backwards or slide off. I solved this problem by adding my own second Velcro strap to each boot. I have used these boots to protect my 16 year old dog's hind legs that he is dragging. His feet started bleeding after half a block with his shoes off. I also used the Ultra Paws Rugged Dog Boot. (These are great boots but they are expensive and last 2-3 weeks for my dog). East Side boots are cheaper, last a little longer for socks, but require a little homework to get them firmly on your feet.
