Review on Smart bracelet HONOR Band 5 Global, blue by Mateusz Mazurkiewicz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

Google Fit is not very practical, but that is not Honor's issue. Unfortunately, while recognizing the bracelet application, Google Fit does not import all of the data from it. They have a fire application (like "health"), which was tested on my mother's iPhone. All information is gathered, along with information from other programs (such as pressure from an Omron, weight from scales, and beauty in general). Overall, I'm happy because everything fits my needs. I required a pulse monitor for the day, sleep tracking, steps, an ellipse, that was somewhat waterproof, without confusing disconnects, and that could hold a charge for more than three days. My expectations were met by the jewelry.

Pros
  • 1. IP68 water and dust proof. I didn't try to swim with them, but when my child was in the bath, I dipped my hand in water holding a watch without getting nervous. I also went to the shower without getting nervous. My mother scooped water into a watch she owns from a different brand that has IP67 (slightly inferior water protection) while bathing her grandchild. Although it was successful, the screen was uncomfortably misted for a number of days. 2. Normal holding of the Bluetooth. If the bluetooth connection is lost (when moving away from the phone), it reconnects while getting close to the device. This typically occurs in an apartment, where there is plenty of room and solid walls. Even if it is noisy or the phone is on mute, the bluetooth does not lose, so when the phone is nearby, I always know when someone is calling or writing to me. 3. Usual selection of dials. I purchased it for the start of the year 2022 after reading reviews that claimed there were few dials and no options. Evidently, the appraisals were out of date because there were already dials for the year 2022—at least five, and possibly as many as fifty. 4. A pulse oximeter is present. What an awesome present for 2022. This year, I got pneumonia, and the pulse oximeter indicated that it was below 95. Prior to the illness, it consistently displayed 98, so I assumed that was how it always displayed. But no. 5. The application is good and shows everything I desired. (sleep, heartbeat, steps). I needed to buy an elliptical trainer. The information will be available for the previous days even if you don't access the application for a week. It appears that the bracelet loads them periodically. 6. There is nothing to compare steps against, thus I have no idea how to measure them. However, the steps are not counted if you recline on the couch and move your arms. Additionally, if you allow it in the settings, he will write in an hour while you remain still. 7. It operates for 5 days on a single charge with sleep tracking and always-on heart rate monitoring. has a rapid charge. 8. No nicks for six months.
Cons
  • 1. Strap. It doesn't come undone, everything works fine, and it holds firmly. But the interior is smooth, not ribbed. There are no ventilation grooves. There are numerous holes in it, but they didn't help me (the bracelet doesn't rotate on my arm) and I ended up getting discomfort because the flesh underneath the strap couldn't breathe. The issue gradually faded. Either the skin adapted to it, or I began to treat the strap's silicone with chlorhexidine water every few days (it's become a habit now). 2. A smart alarm that should pick the ideal time to wake me up within the given window of time woke me up a total of once. The bracelet determined that there was nothing to wake up a sound sleeper because, according to the schedule, I had a deep slumber. At least he woke up at the end of the time period, but no. Use this setting with caution.
