Review on 🐹 Habitrail Small Animal Cage: Ideal Habitat for Hamsters and Gerbils by Nancy Russell

Actually I bought this trail in June 2015. I was going to wait and see how it holds up and check back later, but so far I've forgotten! Cells over time and all were very painful to clean! One of the main things I looked for in a new cage was that it should be easy to clean and this cage definitely ticks all the boxes! It's SO easy, you just take off the clear top (it never resists! There's a spot on each side that you press down on and it pops out instantly!) and from there you can just dump the shavings. from the bottom of the tray to the basket. So easy! It came with accessories which was nice. For a while I had an attic, but in the end I decided to tear it down. The ramp to get there kept falling and my hamster would climb up the trellis to get to her attic, which I didn't like as I was too worried she might fall off. So I fitted the little house I already had and it works just as well! Everything else that comes with it is great. The steering wheel is nice and definitely the quietest I've ever owned, but it's by no means quiet. The only thing stopping me from giving a full 5 stars is the size. He's a lot smaller than I expected and I really wouldn't recommend him for a Syrian/plush hamster. I have a tiny robotic hamster so it's not a big deal and I often take him to run around in her ball or play in her playpen. Otherwise it's perfect! Nice look, good quality (almost no signs of wear after such a long time! Although my hamster doesn't chew on its bars), cheap and easy to care for! If you love tubes, there are 2 separate places for them. . I'm not sure of the sizing but I've bought hoses from another brand and they fit well and aren't too difficult to put on.
