This float is great for my 2 year old daughter. She wears it on the boat, in the lake, in the pool, on the beach and in the sea without complaint. If she's playing in the sand we suggest she take it off, but she prefers not to take it off so she can go straight back into the water. I think that proves it's comfortable. She can "swim” unaided in lakes, pools and oceans. The float gives him more mobility and stability. We had tried several other life jacket options prior to this swimmer and she always felt uncomfortable or whiny. And the floats she sat in weren't stable enough - I was always afraid she might come out too easily. I'm so glad we found it! My parents bought one to keep in their house. We love it!
